    “<strong>其政悶悶,其民淳淳;其政察察,其民缺缺。</strong>”


    從政者能夠做到無為寬厚(例如:“<strong>善者,吾善之;不善者,吾亦善之;德善。信者,吾信之;不信者,吾亦信之;德信。</strong>”),這樣可使百姓安居樂業行善積德天下太平。若從政者總去斤斤計較越多設施刑法,百姓就會變得狡猾缺少大智慧都是小聰明。 (吾不知用何詞來闡明寓意,用心去體會吧!)


    “<strong>禍兮福之所倚,福兮禍之所伏。孰知其極?</strong>”


    福中有禍,禍中有福,誰能知道究竟那?


    “<strong>其無正也。正複為奇,善複為妖。人之迷,其日固久。</strong>”


    正的可以變為邪,善良可以變為惡。人們迷惑而不知其理太久了。


    “<strong>是以聖人方而不割,廉而不劌,直而不肆,光而不耀。</strong>”


    所以聖人方正而不割,銳利而不傷人,直率而不放肆,光耀而不耀眼刺人。

    <strong>啞巴吃密之悟道</strong>


    有一個學僧,恭恭敬敬地請教慈受禪師:“禪者悟道時,對於悟得的境界和感受,說得出來嗎?”


    慈受:“既是‘悟’道,說不出來。”


    學僧:“說不出來的時候,像什麽呢?”


    慈受:“像啞巴吃蜜!”


    學僧覺得很有道理,但隨即又產生了一個新的疑問:“一個禪者沒有悟道時,但他善於言辭,說得頭頭是道,他說的能夠算悟嗎?”


    慈受:“既然還沒有悟道,說出的怎算做禪悟呢?”


    學僧:“但是他說的聽起來好像也蠻有道理呀,如果不算做禪悟,那他是什麽呢?”


    慈受:“鸚鵡學舌!”


    學僧:“啞巴吃蜜和鸚鵡學舌,有什麽不同呢?弟子愚笨,請老師講具體一點兒。”


    慈受:“啞巴吃蜜,甜在心頭,是深深地領悟了禪理,這是‘知’,如人飲水,冷暖自知;鸚鵡學舌,語音雖似,卻毫無意義,這是‘不知’,好像小孩子學說話,並不了解其中的含義。”


    學僧:“啊,是這樣,那麽麵對那些沒有領悟禪理的人,怎麽對他們說法呢?”


    慈受:“自己知道的給他知道,自己不知道的不要給他知道。”


    學僧:“老師,那您現在是‘知’還是‘不知’?”


    慈受:“我現在是啞巴吃黃連,有苦說不出;也如鸚鵡學講話,講得非常像。你說我是知還是不知呢?”


    學僧很受啟發,禮謝而去。
